Hello, my name is Deontae Cummings, founder of Quasaric. I’m building this because I believe in the enhancement of humanity alongside technology, not human replacement with technology. We are a new type of B2B startup that is looking for ambitious people to join this team.
Right now, we are pre-funding, pre-launch, and in the early developmental stages. We’re looking for exceptional people to help shape Quasaric from ground zero.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Engineering Hardware / Software
- Help design the first working prototype
- Ship the experiments fast, fail fast, and iterate even faster
- Figure out the root cause behind software/hardware related problems
- Dive into whatever the project needs (firmware, app, CAD, scripting, you name it)
- Obsessed with making ideas exist and building stuff that works
- Comfortable in the traditional startup chaos —— messy and unstructured
- Can learn new tools on the fly (curiosity > credentials)
Product Designer
- Turn the rough cardboard mockups into visual prototypes
- Select form factor that actually works in the real world
- Help ship the experiments fast, fail fast, and iterate even faster
- Someone who has good taste. Send me your favorite design projects and why (bonus).
- Able to communicate design decisions clearly and defend logically
- Comfortable in the traditional startup chaos —— messy and unstructured
Operations / Growth
- Hunt down suppliers, manufacturers, and partners to make the things happen
- Build the scrappy systems for logistics, onboarding, support, and sales
- Gather insights from early customers, and turn them into clear actions
- Natural problem solver who can figure out things without waiting for instructions
- Comfortable with uncertainty and unstructured environments
- Great communicator
- You’ve run something before — tiny business, club, a project, anything (bonus!)
